Week 9 things ...

Podcasts, Videos & Downloadable audio. Ending with a summary of my thoughts about this program.

I explored YouTube and selected a music video of one of my favorite CCM singers and put it on my blog. I was thrilled to find him listed. There's a little bit of everything there (be careful)

Next, I took a look at some podcasts and then on to some titles available on Project Gutenburg which I was already familiar with.

Now to summarize my thoughts about this program -

I have to admit, this program has really been a new and different experience for me. I have done things that I would never have done on my own.

I was reading a technology magazine the other day and found that I actually knew what they were talking about. Thanks 23 things!

Week 8 things ...

Zoho Writer - Online word processing and spreadsheet
This is really neat! I had no idea that something like this was available on the web. I am learning so many "things" in this program.

Web 2.0 Awards
I went to several sites just to check things out. I found them all very interesting and some very helpful. I like how things are grouped together, that way you can pick and choose the sites you feel are going to be useful to you.

Week 7 things ...

This was wiki week. I played in the sandbox and made a peanut butter wiki ... It got a bit sticky at times, but it was only because I made it harder then it actually was.

Wikis - a good thing for just about any kind of information you want to share.

Week 6 things ...

Tagging, Folksonomies & Technorati was on the agenda for week 6. Also, we were ask to read a few perspectives on Web 2.0, Library 2.0 and the future of libraries and blog our thoughts.

Some thoughts ...
After watching the video The Machine Is Us/ing Us, by Michael Wesch; it is true, we are the web. We are learning and teaching each other in so many different ways. It is Us Using Us. Change is happening faster than ever before. Technology is changing ... Information is changing ... We are all changing in so many ways.

Week 5 things ...

It's play week, and today I played around with online image geneators, Rollyo, and took a look at Library Thing, which is where you can create your very own library online. It's like a "My Space for books."
